The Hidden Frequency

You stare at the big screen in Dr. Lin's lab. A tiny dot blinks far, far away. It is an old satellite, lost in space for many years. Nobody talks to it anymore.

But it is talking to you.

Beep… beep… beeeep… The sound crawls out of the speakers like a cold finger. It sounds lonely. It sounds scared. And it is making the whole town scared too.

"It's whispering back to Earth," Dr. Lin says softly. "It has been alone too long." You take a deep breath. The microphone glows green, waiting. What will you send into the dark?
