Dr. Mira Hesse is the sole overwintering researcher at Vostok-7, a remote Antarctic monitoring station. When the supply plane fails to arrive and the radio goes silent on the first day of polar night, she must ration dwindling food, conserve failing generators, and confront something stirring beneath the ice. Six months of darkness lie ahead. Survival will demand more than endurance — it will demand choices no one should have to make alone.
