The Captain's Logbook


You slip into the captain's cabin. Your heart thumps loud. The big book sits open on the desk. You turn the pages with shaky hands.

Then you see it. Every sick sailor's name—written days before they got sick. The captain knew. He planned it.

Footsteps creak in the hall. What now?


Take the logbook and run to the first mate
Put it back and pretend you saw nothing
